Benjamin Buttner always delivers an outstanding performance whether by himself or accompanied by one of his ensembles. His music reflects many years of study and appreciation of a wide range of styles. As a solo performer he sings and plays both contemporary and classic hits, from blues, country and rock. He is also a very strong instrumentalist and can provide classical and jazz music perfect for weddings and other formal and semi-formal events.
Writing original songs and lyrics is another skill Ben has honed over the years. He has co-wrote tunes with other recording artists and written many tunes for himself and other projects.
Jazz Ensembles
A top notch jazz ensemble that features anywhere from 2 to 7 jazz musicians bringing an authentic and artistic performance of new and old jazz standards, latin grooves, and funk jams. Ben studied jazz guitar at Cal State Northridge with jazz great John Pisano, and has performed at many jazz clubs and venues through out the Los Angeles area and Ventura County.
